Michelle boasts an astounding 30-year history of leadership within the Property and Casualty insurance industry, a journey crowned by her recognition as one of the “2023 Top Agents of the Year” by the prestigious Insurance Journal. Over the years, she has cultivated trusted partnerships with various stakeholders, including insurance carriers, underwriters, wholesalers, managing general agents, and most importantly, clientele.

Since the establishment of SJP Financial Group in 2021, Michelle has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s vision, spearheading long-term planning initiatives, driving new business development, and overseeing all financial aspects of the company. Leveraging her extensive expertise in wholesale underwriting, sales and marketing management, broker negotiations, risk analysis, and insurance planning, Michelle is devoted to providing exceptional client services.

Michelle passionately believes in leading by example and is deeply involved at the producer level, where she personally services a book of business. Her genuine care for her craft and commitment to fostering successful business and personal relationships set her apart as a true industry leader.

Prior to founding SJP Financial Group, Michelle honed her skills as an underwriter at the globally renowned Swett & Crawford/Aon Corporation. Throughout her career, she transitioned from the insurance wholesale brokerage discipline to the retail side, eventually rising to the executive level. With over 20 years of experience in managing the day-to-day operations of various agencies, Michelle had a key position in helping them achieve their goals by excelling in dual responsibilities of producing new business and successfully retaining existing clientele.

Michelle holds a license as a Property & Casualty Producer and is a valued member of The Institutes CPCU Society, further underscoring her commitment to professionalism and excellence within the industry.

Michael brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to his role as an insurance advisor, with an impressive 23 years in the industry and over 45 years of experience in sales and marketing management. His extensive background equips him with the skills and knowledge necessary to serve a diverse clientele base, ranging from nonprofit organizations, governmental entities and public sector to cultural institutions, colleges and universities, accounting firms, and newspaper publishers.

As the Executive Vice President overseeing SJP Financial Group’s Property & Casualty division, Michael plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and success. He is committed to increasing P&C sales and revenue, as well as developing and implementing programs to expand commercial product offerings for both prospective and existing clients.

Michael’s expertise extends to the development of short and long-term strategic planning, negotiating with underwriters on insurance products, market placement, and risk management consulting, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and tailored insurance solutions to meet their specific needs.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University and is a Licensed Property & Casualty Producer. Additionally, Michael has earned the distinguished designation of Certified Insurance Counselor, further highlighting his commitment to professionalism and excellence in the insurance industry. With his experience and dedication to client satisfaction, Michael is an asset to the SJP Financial Group team.
